Do you love green liquid in your glass or know someone who does? Try this new one!

Green Smoothie With Pineapple, Arugula, Greens and Cashews!

Total time: About 5 minutes

1/4 pineapple, peeled, cored and cut into chunks (about 6 ounces peeled and cored pineapple)

3/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice (or the juice that accumulates after cutting up the pineapple mixed with enough orange juice to make 3/4 cup)

2 tablespoons raw cashews (about .75 ounce)

1/2 teaspoon chia seeds

1/4 cup, tightly packed, arugula (about 1/4 ounce)

3/4 cup, tightly packed (or 3 handfuls – about 1.5 ounces) mixed baby greens

1 quarter-size slice ginger, peeled

2 or 3 ice cubes

1. Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend for 1 minute, or until smooth.

Advance preparation: This should be served right away.

Nutritional information per serving: 288 calories; 9 grams fat; 2 grams saturated fat; 2 grams polyunsaturated fat; 5 grams monounsaturated fat; 5 milligrams cholesterol; 50 grams’ carbohydrates; 5 grams dietary fiber; 19 milligrams sodium; 6 grams protein
